One way we have helped!

 

In the past we have been privileged to help Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium.  You may have noticed some of our handiwork while viewing the sea otters playing with their toys.

 

Working together with the animal trainers;   the Toys were engineered, designed in 3d, prototyped in SLA, reviewed by the oceanarium staff, changes made, test models cut for otter approval, of course they wanted changes too, and programmed for production, all with the help of our staff.

 

As customers go, Otters turned out to be more demanding then most.  Their playful nature makes them destructive and the Toys needed to be extremely durable. They’re also very picky, attention to detail was highly important. One seashell was rejected simply because it came from the wrong ocean. The necessary alterations were made to make the customer happy, and the Otters are now playing with their toys!

 

 

We were happy to learn that the otters were so pleased, that they are now sharing their toys with their cousins at Oregon’s Coastal Aquarium.  It feels good, to know we've helped our customers meet there demanding needs!
